Know when and what your payout will be
The most important thing about your payout is making sure you receive it. The second most important thing is understanding how your payment works. That’s what we’re here to help you with.
Breaking down your drop off payout
For every drop off at your store, you receive:
- $1 for each FedEx Express® package
- $0.75 for each FedEx Ground® package
- $0.75 for each FedEx Ground® Economy (formerly FedEx SmartPost®) package
Payments must exceed $10 to receive a payout.
You can expect a payment every quarter, generally 30 days after the close date of each quarter. Because there is no carryover between quarters, we want to make sure you know the FedEx quarterly payout schedule.
QTR | Dates | Payout check end-of-month distribution | Dispute period for filing claims | Deadline for submitting inquiry |
1 | June–August | September | September–November | November 30 |
2 | September–November | December | December–February | February 28 |
3 | December–February | March | March–May | May 31 |
4 | March–May | June | June–August | August 31 |
3 tips to make sure you get the right payout
Make sure your payout is correct. Each quarter, log in to FASCnet.com, go to Select My Info, and click Payout to Date. Your recent drop off payout amounts will be listed.
Keep a detailed record of every shipment. You can likely export a report from your point-of-sale system. Use this report to cross-reference your drop off numbers to your payout. Looking for a FedEx-integrated business software solution? Explore our compatible solutions providers.
Update your FASCnet remittance address and contact information. Updates are especially important if you sell or move your store, or change the location where you receive checks. Accuracy is key to showing customers the right information and receiving your payout. Log in to your FASCnet account and go to My Info > Update Profile to change your store’s profile information.
If you have questions about your payout amount, you can log in to your FASCnet account and submit a payout inquiry by going to My Info > Payout to Date > Payout Inquiry Form.
The deadline for submitting a payout inquiry request is three months after the close of the payout period. See the FedEx quarterly chart for details.
