Definition

Clearance Permits/Licenses

FedEx will apply a fee for obtaining or renewing the import permit or license as required by local regulatory body.

Cold storage

Storage of shipments on a temperature-controlled area.

Dangerous Goods One-Stop Shop (DGOSS)

This one-stop shop enables customers to conveniently ship over 2,200 types of dangerous goods, ranging from class 1 to 9, such as paints, perfumes, bleaches, and electronic devices with lithium batteries, to international markets.

Fumigation Service

The action or process of disinfecting or purifying a wooden packaging with the fumes of certain chemicals.

Palletization (standard size per cbm)

To place/stack the goods or materials onto pallets. (Standard size based on customer stacking requirements) (Max dim 120x120x100cm)

Monthly data reporting/Pre-alert

Generation of customizable monthly data reports and/or Pre-alert as requested by customer.

On-dock Support

Dedicated On-Site Courier handling the documentation, processing of export shipments.

Reefer truck/van

Temperature-controlled truck/van to ensure safety of temperature-sensitive shipments.

Single Wooden Crating/Uncrating

To pack/ unpack the shipment in Single Wooden Crating on behalf of the customer.

Special handling

Special material handling as required by customer (i.e., 10 tons forklift, equipment, crane etc.)

Dedicated Vehicle for Pick-up/Delivery

Dedicated vehicle for pick up or delivery to cater to customer special request.

Warehousing Services

Warehousing Services (ancillary service to international transportation/ shipment) on customer site, vendor warehouse or at FedEx facility. Scope of work may include (but not limited to) storage and/or any of the following subject to customers requirement:

1. Picking, packing and consolidation of packages such as:

a. consolidation of picked-up packages from various locations.

b. repackaging for outbound use

2. Breaking of bulk shipments received in bulk for the Customers' intended use
     such as:

a. repackaging of shipments for domestic or international distribution

b. affixing of local tax invoices or any paperwork requirements on the
     package

3. Purchase order fulfilment
