PROMOTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

FEDEX SINGAPORE ALLIANCE PROGRAM ("CAMPAIGN")

1. By tendering shipments with the FedEx corporate account specified in the Confirmation Notice (as defined in paragraph 3(iii) below), you will be deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.

2. Campaign Period: 20 November 2020 to 31 December 2022.

3. Entry to Campaign:

i. To enter this Campaign, participants must register for a new FedEx corporate account through the Alliance Program webpage www.fedex.com/en-sg/campaign/alliance.html   (“Participants”). 

ii. Your entry into this Campaign is confirmed by your receipt of an email notification from FedEx upon opening a new FedEx corporate account (the “Confirmation Notice”).

iii. Persons under the age of majority in the applicable jurisdiction of this Campaign must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of majority to enter.

iv. Incomprehensible, objectionable and incomplete entries will be invalid and will not be eligible for the Promotional Discount (as defined in paragraph 4 below).

v. FedEx accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

4. Promotional Discount

i. A Participant who has successfully enrolled in this Campaign according to paragraph 3 above will enjoy the Promotional Discount  specified in the Confirmation Notice on the list-priced basic freight charge of each Eligible Shipment (as defined below). No other charges, including but not limited to duties and tax, fuel surcharge, duty and tax surcharges and other surcharges, are subject to the Promotional Discount.

ii. “Eligible Shipments” must meet all of the following requirements:

a. Shipments must be invoiced to, and settled by, the FedEx corporate account specified in the Confirmation Notice in order to enjoy the Promotional Discount;

b. To be eligible for the Promotional Discount, shipments must meet the shipment criteria specified in the Confirmation Notice in order to be eligible;

c. Shipments must be tendered during the Discount Period, as specified in the Confirmation Notice;

d. Shipments must be either FedEx International Priority (IP), International Economy (IE) services; International Priority Freight (IPF) or International Economy Freight (IEF). 

iii. The Promotional Discount is applied to the FedEx corporate account specified in the Confirmation Notice.

iv. The Promotional Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other shipping discount or offer provided by FedEx.

v. The Promotional Discount is valid for use  from the date of the Confirmation Notice until 31 December 2021.

vi. FedEx reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.

5. FedEx Corporate Account Registration

i. The Participant agrees to abide by the FedEx Express shipping terms & conditions (printed at the reverse side of the Air Waybill)

ii. Credit Terms granted for your FedEx Shipping Account are as follows:

- Freight

- 30 Days; Duty/Tax

- 7 days

iii. We reserve the rights to suspend your shipping account without any notice if the outstanding amount is not settled by the payment due date, and your shipments will be on cash terms only.

iv. If the billed party indicated on the Air Waybill refuse to pay for the charges for the shipment, the Participant shall be liable to pay for the freight charges, surcharges and duty tax for the shipment (the Participant is also liable for other charges paid by FedEx to recover the debt including, but not limited to, government fines, additional taxes, legal charges and fees).  The Participant is also liable for all charges, incurred while awaiting further instructions for consignments that cannot be delivered, such as storage and all related charges.

v. The Participant herein authorizes FedEx Express to use the aforementioned information and apply on its behalf for: (1) a login user ID and default password of the FedEx official website (www.fedex.com/sg) (2) FedEx® Billing Online. (3) FedEx® Electronic Trade Documents, please read the following terms of use of FedEx® Electronic Trade Documents. Upon receipt of the user ID and default password from FedEx Express, the Participant agrees to log in the website and verify all data filled out on its behalf.  For the sake of data security, please immediately change the password by yourself.

vi. If the Participant chooses to apply by himself for the login user ID and password through www.fedex.com, please contact customer service hotline at 1800.743.2626 within 1 business day.

vii. By applying for (either by yourself or through FedEx Express) or using the user ID and password, the Participant accepts and shall be deemed to have read and agreed to the fedex.com Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy on the website, and to have accepted that FedEx may transfer commercial information through channels (e.g. email) to the Participant including but not limited to special offers and promotions

viii. If the Participant chooses to apply by himself for the FedEx® Billing Online through www.fedex.com, please contact customer service hotline at 1800.743.2626 within 1 business day.

ix. If the Participant chooses to apply by yourself for the FedEx® Electronic Trade Documents through www.fedex.com, please contact customer service hotline at 1800.743.2626 within 1 business day.

x. To stop receiving email notifications on shipment delivery and/or clearance delay, please follow the opt-out mechanism by visiting Login to Track settings after login user ID and password through www.fedex.com and remove selected shipment notifications as best-fit.

6. General

i. FedEx shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered by a Participant or other parties in connection with this Campaign, including but not limited to personal injury and tax obligations that may arise from accepting any of the rewards, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

ii. Eligibility excludes the directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of FedEx, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with the promotion stated herein as well as employees, agents, officers, and representatives of any government department, government owned entity, juristic person funded by any government department, political party or public international organization, or any candidates for political office.

iii. By entering this Campaign, unless otherwise advised by the Participant, each Participant consents to the information they submit being entered into a database which may be used by FedEx in any media for future promotional and publicity purposes.

iv. If this Campaign is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures and any other causes beyond the control of FedEx, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Campaign, FedEx reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Campaign.

v. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to this Campaign, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.

vi. The terms and conditions of carriage in the applicable FedEx Express Air Waybill, in effect on the day of any shipment, shall apply to the shipment. If there is a conflict between the terms of the FedEx Express Air Waybill and these Terms and Conditions, the former will control.

vii. In the event of any discrepancies with respect to this Campaign, FedEx's decision is final and no other further correspondence will be accepted. FedEx will not be obliged to award the rewards if it is contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.
