The QR code and FSM Lite Shipment Reference Number are required to present to the FedEx agent when dropping off at FedEx locations or when a courier picks up shipments. It is not a shipment tracking number. Shippers cannot use the Shipment Reference Number to track a shipment status on fedex.com. The QR code and FSM Lite Shipment Reference Number are available once the shipment is created in FSM Lite. If the shipper's mobile number and email address are provided, the shipper will receive confirmation with the Shipment Reference Number in an SMS or email as reference.
After FedEx agents confirm the shipment once a package is dropped off or picked up, the tracking number will be generated. You will receive an email with the tracking number and basic shipment information. You can also request an email receipt with a tracking number from FedEx agents.
After you request a pickup and finalize the shipment in FSM Lite, you will receive the pickup confirmation number, QR code and Shipment Reference Number on the confirmation page. If you provide your mobile number and email address, you will receive pickup confirmation in an SMS or email as reference.
