I am considering shipping to Russia as an individual. Is there anything I should pay attention to?

The following points should be noted when shipping to Russia from an individual.

Shipments with import customs clearance in Moscow (shipments to regions other than the local zip codes 187000-199406)
We conduct import customs clearance in St. Petersburg for shipments to Russian zip codes 187000-199406, and in Moscow for shipments to other regions. For shipments cleared through import customs in Moscow, there are restrictions on declared value and weight.

Unacceptable shipment
Shipments with a declared value exceeding 200 Euros or a gross weight exceeding 31 kilograms

If a shipment is found to exceed the above limits, the shipment will be returned at the shipper's expense.

If the consignee is also an individual
If both the shipper and the consignee are individuals, FedEx is not allowed to ship any goods other than documents to Russia. If the consignee is an individual, he/she is not allowed to receive non-documentary goods to Russia. 

Please enter the cell phone number in the space for the consignee's company name on our air waybill.

Additional Notes

• Please fill in the cargo description field of our air waybill so that it does not differ from the information on the commercial invoice.
• Local customs duties and other taxes on shipments to Russia are only handled as consignee's payment. Shipper's payment or third party payment is not acceptable.
• In Russia, there are many items that are prohibited or subject to import restrictions and may be returned to the shipper if import customs clearance cannot be completed locally.
