As part of their mission to create the most environmentally friendly snowboards available, Niche Snowboards blends unique design, skilled craftsmanship, and a passion to make a difference. Each board that they offer is constructed of alternative, environmentally friendlier materials and is lighter and stronger than standard snowboards. But what truly sets their boards apart is that they’re zero-waste and fully recyclable.

Terra Beauty Products
Deerfield Beach, Florida

With a belief in using only clean, natural, plant-based ingredients, Terra Beauty Products was established to provide customers with an innovative line of skin, nail, and body care products that are handcrafted and sustainably produced. And in addition to being one of this year’s grand prize winners, Terra Beauty Products is also the winner of the Distinction Award for veteran-owned companies.

CareHalo is the recipient of this year’s Distinction Award for healthcare.

Founded in 2014 by a NICU nurse, Every Tiny Thing LLC knows what NICU families are going through and understands the needs of their babies.

Hikers Brew Coffee is on a mission to promote sustainability in a variety of ways, such as sourcing organic coffee beans, utilizing compostable packaging, and offering customers the option of carbon-neutral shipping. They also make a charitable donation to plant one tree for every sale they make through their website. Hikers Brew Coffee is this year’s Distinction Award winner for young entrepreneurs.

Jersey City, New Jersey

Muvez LLC, the winner of the 2022 Distinction Award for minority-owned businesses, are the creators of a line of footwear, clothing, and accessories. With their footwear, the company set out to put a brand-new spin on the common house slipper. The result is an innovative slipper/shoe hybrid featuring a detachable sole that quickly and easily transforms for indoor or outdoor use.

True Garden LLC
Mesa, Arizona

True Garden LLC is a leader in vertical aeroponic food farming, a process that combines advanced greenhouse designs, solar power, and a host of smart technologies. Their pioneering efforts to enable cool crop production in the harsh, dry temperatures of the Southwest U.S. helped them win both a first place prize as well as this year’s Distinction Award for sustainability.

Chasin’ Dreams Farm
San Diego, California 

Chasin’ Dreams Farm produces a line of air-popped snacks made from a base ingredient of sorghum, an ancient grain that’s naturally gluten free, nourishing, and flavorful. Though the snacks look like miniature versions of popcorn, they’re completely corn-free and made from environmentally sustainable ingredients. Plus, they come in three varieties of nostalgic flavors that are both healthy and tasty.
