When you’re shipping between the U.S. and Canada, knowing your shipment’s status can help reduce delays at the border. To check the status of a shipment, use our Quick Find feature. You can select it from the Resources menu above or access it from the Quick Find panel on ftn.fedex.com/app. Then follow these steps:

Step 1

In the Quick Find box, select Master Bill Number from the dropdown.


Step 2

Enter the PAPS code or shipment control number (SCN) and select Track.


Step 3

When you see date and time information in the CBP Advance Notice field, it means you’re cleared to move your shipment to the point of entry. If you don’t see this information, your shipment has not been cleared yet.
