Introducing the FedEx Logistics Portal
My Global Trade Data is retiring. It’s time to switch to a more flexible way to manage your shipments—and your supply chain. If you’re an existing My Global Trade Data user and currently have a login, your portal account will automatically be created. You don’t have to take any action. You’ll get an email notification once it’s ready.

Creating and managing your account
This is our replacement for My Global Trade Data. Its self-service features will give you better visibility, plus tools for communication, collaboration, exception management, reporting, and analytics.Â
Over the next few months, new capabilities will be made available in the portal via incremental releases.
No. You will need a fedex.com user ID to access the portal. Once you have that, you can register for portal access.
No. If you currently have a My Global Trade Data login, your portal account will automatically be created. You will receive an email notification once it’s ready.
If you’re an existing My Global Trade Data user, your portal account will automatically be created. And your existing data will be moved to the new portal. You’ll receive an email with your username and temporary password once you’re able to log in.
If you’re a new user, you need to register at fedex.com, then request access to the portal. Here’s how:

I don’t have a FedEx user ID
- Log in or sign up for a new FedEx account at fedex.com.Â
- Click Create a User ID and complete the required fields.Â
- Once you’re finished, you can register for portal access.Â
How to register for the portal
- Go to portal.fxl.fedex.com and click Log In to Tools. Select FedEx Logistics Portal.
- You’ll see the Sign Up or Log In page. Click Customer Login.  Â
- If you’re already logged in at fedex.com, you’ll land on the registration page. Â
- If you aren’t logged in, enter your user ID and password to get to the registration page.Â
- You’ll see your account details. You need to enter your company’s IRS/BN/Tax ID.Â
- Click Register. You’ll see that your registration request is being reviewed. You’ll also receive an email confirmation of your registration.Â
- Once your registration is complete, you’ll get another email. You can now access the portal.Â
You don’t need to add a new user. They can request access to the portal, but first they need to create a fedex.com user ID.Â
If they already have one, they can skip to step 2.
1. Go to fedex.com. Â
- Click Sign Up or Log In (menu in the top-right corner).
- Click Create a User ID and complete the registration.Â
- Follow step 2.
2. Go to portal.fxl.fedex.com and click Log In to Tools. Select FedEx Logistics Portal.
- Click Sign Up or Log In (menu in the top-right corner).
- You’ll see the Sign Up or Log In page. Click Customer Login.
- If you’re already logged in at fedex.com, you’ll land on the registration page. Â
- If you aren’t logged in, enter your user ID and password to get to the registration page.Â
- You’ll see your account details. You need to enter your company’s IRS/BN/Tax ID.Â
- Click Register. You’ll see that your registration request is being reviewed. You’ll also receive an email confirmation of your registration.Â
- Once your registration is complete, you’ll get another email. You can now access the portal.Â
Existing My Global Trade Data users will automatically be set up on fedex.com and registered for the portal. There is no wait time for approval. Once you have received the email with your username and password, you can log in. Accounts for new users are typically approved within 24 hours. You should receive an email that your account is pending. Once approved, you’ll receive an email notification.
Using the FedEx Logistics Portal
To create a new report, go to Reporting > All reports. You’ll see three options for transportation reports. Click Create Custom to choose criteria. Your custom report will be saved.
To access invoices, go to Shipment Details and select the Documents tab. To access your account statement, go to the Billing option under the main menu.
- To get updates on a specific shipment, click the envelope icon in Shipment listing > Shipment details. Enter your email.
- To set up alerts based on certain criteria, go to Settings > Alerts & notifications. Choose the data you want to include, such as pickup date and cargo cleared at destination.
You can track by the following identifiers:
- HBL/HAWB
- Masterbill#
- Invoice#
- Container
- Customer reference
- Purchase order number
Yes. All your historical data, including reports and alerts, have been transferred to the new portal.
U.S. customs brokerage customers will be impacted closer to February 2025. No action is needed at this time.
