How can I request to have a FedEx® package redirected and held at another location for pickup by the recipient?

To redirect your package and have it held for pickup at a secure FedEx location or participating retail partner, log in to your FedEx account, go to our tracking page, and follow these steps:

  1. Enter your tracking number or reference number.
  2. Select Manage Delivery, then Hold at Location.
  3. Click Continue to acknowledge that requesting that your package be held for pickup may change your delivery date. You also have the option to cancel the request by selecting Nevermind.
  4. From the options provided, choose the location where you want your package to be sent. 
  5. Provide your recipient’s contact info—phone number and/or email—so we can notify them when their package is ready to be picked up.
  6. Review your location selection and recipient contact info and click Submit.
  7. Confirm your request for Hold at Location and click Done.
