When I track my FedEx Express® package, it shows it was delivered, but my recipient can’t find it. How do I dispute a delivery or report it as missing?
How can I report a missing FedEx Express package?
- If your package’s tracking status says it was delivered, but your recipient can’t find it, log in to your FedEx account, go to our tracking page, and follow these steps:
- Enter your tracking number or reference number.
- Select Manage Delivery, then Report Missing Package.
- Confirm that your recipient has checked everywhere the package might have been left by our driver and click Yes.
- Enter your contact information, including your name, phone number, and email address (optional).
- Tell us your preferred method of contact—text or email—and confirm that it’s okay for us to contact you.
- Click Submit, and you’ll receive a case number assigned to your report.
- Click Done. We’ll contact you as soon as possible to help locate your missing package.
For help with missing FedEx Ground® packages or other packages that weren’t shipped via FedEx Express, contact customer support.
