If I missed a delivery, how do I know when you’ll reattempt to deliver my package?

We’ll reattempt to deliver your package the following day. Generally, we make deliveries from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday–Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday for residential deliveries.

Residential deliveries may be eligible to be redirected to a nearby FedEx location or participating retail location like Walgreens or Dollar General to be held for pickup for up to 7 days. You can use our online tool, FedEx Delivery Manager®, to submit a request. You’ll need your tracking number or door tag number.

If your delivery requires a signature, and you’re worried you might miss a reattempted delivery, check the back of your door tag. You may have the option to fill out a form and leave it with your signature. This authorizes us to deliver your package the next business day, even if you’re not there.
