Passport return service

Now you can choose FedEx to receive your passport back from the U.S. Embassy in The Bahamas to Turks and Caicos Islands. All U.S. Visa applicants must provide a pre-paid FedEx Air Waybill together with the completed application package.  

You can obtain a pre-paid Air Waybill online with your FedEx Account using FedEx Ship Manager or in person at a FedEx Ship Center by completing the following steps:

1.   Create a new shipment online using FSM or complete a paper Air Waybill at a FedEx Ship Centera.    In the “Sender” section, please fill in the U.S. Embassy address

b.   In the “Recipient” section, add the address where you would like to receive your passport and/or visa. You may choose to pick-up at a FedEx location by selecting “Hold at FedEx location”

2.  Select FedEx International Priority® service 

3. Pay for your shipment. Service cost from The Bahamas to Turks and Caicos Islands: US$66 plus fuel surcharge

a. Online: Using your FedEx Account

b. In-person: Via credit card, debit card or cash at the FedEx Ship Center counter

If you do not have a FedEx Account, you can open a personal account in less than 5 minutes using a credit card.

Remember to include your pre-paid Air Waybill in your U.S. Visa application package. You will be able to track your shipment once your label has been created.
