Why am I being charged an "Oversize Charge" fee on my invoice?
An oversize charge is applied to a shipment that includes packages exceeding certain dimensions. Specifically, if a package exceeds 243 centimeters in length* or 330 centimeters in length* and girth (L+2W+2H).
Please note that package shape and dimensions may change during transit, which can affect the package's surcharge eligibility. FedEx may make appropriate adjustments to the shipment charges accordingly.
For more information about this surcharge, including applicable rates and guidelines, please download the ‘FedEx Surcharge and Other information’ PDF from our other surcharges page.Â
If you have any concerns or wish to dispute this charge, you can log in to FedEx Billing Online using your fedex.com User ID and submit a dispute by selecting "Incorrect Charge" dispute type via the dispute tracking ID page.Â
Please refer to our guide for steps on how to submit a dispute.
*Length refers to the measurement of the longest side of a package.
