Why am I being charged an "Out of Delivery/Pick-up Area Surcharge" on my invoice?
International shipments that are delivered to or picked up from remote and less-accessible locations, as specified in the Out-of-Delivery-Area Surcharge and Out-of-Pickup-Area Surcharge ZIP and postal codes list, may incur additional charges based on the corresponding tier of the location. The rates per tier are applied to International Express Freight and Parcel services.
To determine the tier of your shipment's origin and/or destination location, you can view the list of ZIP and postal codes by tier.Â

If you have any concerns or wish to dispute this charge, you can log in to FedEx Billing Online using your fedex.com User ID and submit a dispute by selecting "Incorrect Charge" dispute type via the dispute tracking ID page.
