Your shipping partner’s moving to FedEx
Do you have a regular booking arrangement with a shipping partner, where the sender books the shipment and the receiver pays for it?
Then you’re in the right place! Your shipping partner is moving to FedEx which means they’ll no longer ship with TNT. Whether you’re the sender or receiver, here’s everything you need to know.
When’s the move?
Your shipping partner will receive an email from us with the exact date of their move from TNT to FedEx. Reach out to them for all the details and make sure to also remember this date.
What to do?
If you're the sender :
- Open your own FedEx shipping account (if you don’t have one yet)
- Get the receiver’s new FedEx account number
- Start booking shipments on their account — with their permission
If you're the payer and receiver :
- Make sure your FedEx account is activated
- Share your FedEx account number with your senders
- Keep in mind the sender will also need their own FedEx account number and access to FedEx shipping tools to book shipments using your account
- Continue paying for shipments with your account

Don’t want to open an account?
No problem. If you don’t want to open an account, it’ll just mean a little bit more paperwork for your shipping partner.
Your shipping partner with a FedEx account can create shipping labels, air waybills and other documents for you to print and include in your shipments.

Having additional shipping partners still with TNT?
You can continue booking shipments via TNT on your shipping partner’s TNT account with their permission.
