For maximum convenience, we offer FedEx® Delivery Manager for residential deliveries, which allows the shipper to choose delivery instructions (which can be changed later by the recipient if necessary). Depending on your location, you can also opt for Delivery Signature Options, which caters to your instructions on the requirements for recipient’s signature; and Picture proof of delivery, which provides visual confirmation of a delivery.

Once you log on to fedex.com to make a shipment, we will pick up the package from your doorstep, after which it is sent to the local FedEx facility. After passing necessary security checks, the package is loaded onto an aircraft. Depending on the route, that aircraft can go to one or multiple hubs in our network, or directly to the destination country.
Once the aircraft arrives at the destination airport, the package goes through required checks for security and customs clearance purposes. Once cleared, the package is delivered to its final destination.

Our Clearance Services* offerings may be different per country/territory depending on the additional processing that may be required by a local regulatory agency or when you or your importer request special processing from our customs broker.
If you don’t select to use your own broker, we will take care of your shipment in transit and guide it through both export and import customs clearance processes.
