Consent to the Collection and Use of Personal Information and Provision to a Third Party

 

A-1. Consent to the Collection and Use of Customers' Personal Information by the Company

 

a) Purpose of the Collection and Use of Personal Information: To provide Customs Services and perform ancillary duties [import and export declarations of goods pursuant to the Customs Act, duty drawback (including refund application) for breaches of contract, etc. ]

 

b) Personal information collected: Personal Customs Clearance Code, date of birth, name (recipient), address, mobile phone number, e-mail address, and bank account information in case of a duty drawback when there is a breach of contract (account holder name, bank name, account number)

 

c) Retention and Use Period of Personal Information: Until the purposes of using the personal information are attained pursuant to the law(In case of mandatory information for import declaration, it will be up to 5 years according to Customs Act)

 

d) Information on the right to refuse consent and the refusal of consent: Customers may refuse to consent to the provision of collected personal information as above. However, if Customers do not consent, they may experience restrictions on the performance of Customs Services

 

 

A-2. Consent to the Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party

 

a) Items Related to the Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party

  • Recipient of Personal Information: Korea Customs Service
  • Purpose of Using Personal Information: Customs charges and collection, shipment management
  • Provided personal information items: Personal customs clearance code (however, in case a code is not submitted, provide the unique identification information, date of birth, name (recipient), address, mobile phone number, e-mail address, and bank account information in case of a duty drawback when there is a breach of contract (account holder name, bank name, account number)
  • Retention and Use Period of Personal Information: Until the purposes of using the personal information are attained pursuant to the law

 

b) Information on the right to refuse consent and the refusal of consent: Customers may refuse to consent to the provision of personal information to a third party as above. However, if Customers do not consent, they may experience restrictions on the performance of Customs Services.

 

 

In case the Customer provide unique identification information (excluding the resident registration number) instead of the personal customs clearance code

 

B-1. Consent to the Company's Processing of Unique Identification Information

 

a) Purpose of the Collection and Use of Unique Identification Information: To provide Customs Services and perform ancillary duties [import and export declarations of goods pursuant to the Customs Act, duty drawback (including refund application) for breaches of contract, etc. ]

 

b) Unique Identification Information Collected: Alien registration number or passport number

 

c) Retention and Use Period of Personal Information: Until the purposes of using the personal information are attained pursuant to the law(In case of mandatory information for import declaration, it will be up to 5 years according to Customs Act)

 

d) Information on the right to refuse consent and the refusal of consent: Customers may refuse to consent to the provision of the collected unique identification information as stated above. However, if Customers do not consent, they may experience restrictions on the performance of Customs Services.

 

 

B-2. Consent to the Provision of Unique Identification Information to a Third Party

 

a) Items Related to the Provision of Unique Identification Information to a Third Party

  • Recipient of Unique Identification Information: Korea Customs Service
  • Purpose of Using Unique Identification Information: Customs charges and collection, shipment management
  • Provided Unique Identification Information Items: Alien registration number or passport number
  • Retention and Use Period of Unique Identification Information: Until the purposes of using the unique identification information are attained pursuant to the law
