DOPS is a digital payment solution offering alternate payment options to recipients to facilitate the reimbursement of import Duties and Taxes and associated costs.

Once the payment is successful, the payer will receive an intimation on the payment portal and an email confirming the same.
You can easily make payment of Duties and Taxes online through our secure and convenient payment tool. Simply visit here and enter the tracking number to make a payment.
Detailed breakdown of the charges would be displayed along with two options – ‘Pay total amount’ or ‘Pay after deducting tax at source.’
To avail TDS (tax deduction at source), select the option ‘Pay after deducting tax at source’ option and click on ‘Pay Now.’ Choose the preferred digital payment mode and complete the payment. Once the payment is successful, the payer will receive an intimation on the payment portal and an email confirming the same.
For shipments that are assessed for Duties and Taxes as per India Customs and Regulatory guidelines, the recipients are liable to pay Duties, Taxes and associated costs. For faster clearance, FedEx pays the Duties and Taxes on behalf of recipients up to certain limit (Customer may get in touch with FedEx Customer Experience team for more details on limit) and collects it from the recipients post clearance.
Recipients who are liable to pay FedEx import related Duties and Tax and associated costs before/at the time of delivery will be notified on the amount along with a link to make the payment online. The invitation is not applicable for shipments where import Duties and Taxes are billed to shipper. Notification is subject to availability of valid recipient contact details with FedEx.
Recipients will receive an email and/or WhatsApp/SMS informing them about the Duties and Taxes due. The email and/or WhatsApp/SMS will also have a unique payment URL.
However, if both email address and mobile number are missing or invalid, FedEx will not be able to notify the recipient.

a) Login on FiT to monitor the shipment and pay the duties & taxes
b) Pay by entering your tracking number here
We are offering alternative payment methods to recipients as listed below:
- Credit Card – Visa, Master, Rupay, Diners, AMEX
- Debit Card
- Unified Payment Interface (UPI)
- Net Banking/Internet Banking
- Cash cards/Wallets
- Equal Monthly Installments (EMI)
The following indications will help the recipient identify if he is accessing a secure FedEx environment:
- the unique URL should start with ‘fedex.com’
- the URL bar should contain a ‘lock icon’
- the tracking number provided on the portal must be identical to the airway bill number the customer has on file
- WhatsApp/ SMS notification comes from “FedEx IN” and not a random mobile number
The payment link remains active for 7 days from notification sent date.
There could be multiple reasons why a payment link is not functional:
- Payment link has expired
- Payment has already been made
- Payment URL is not recognized
- Link disabled due to three failed attempts
- Technical/ Network issue at FedEx/Recipient’s end

Recipients will receive the notification on Email and WhatsApp/ SMS to pay Duties and Taxes post customs clearance is completed in India. The notification will include a weblink to complete the payment.

The Duties and Taxes amount asked in the payment link is finalized after the customs clearance is completed and hence doesn’t change.
Yes. On the payment portal, the recipient will see that the payment was successful and will also receive an email confirming that payment has been successfully completed.
Yes. You can also pay the Duties & taxes amount via the tracking page.
Specific shipment information is incorporated into the payment link, such as tracking number. This will enable you to easily identify and connect to your shipment.

There are two ways to access FiT:
FedEx users can log in with their fedex.com user ID and password
Guest users can log in with their mobile phone number or email address associated to the shipment. A one-time verification code will be sent to your mobile phone number and/or email address
