Make a Claim for a Lost or Damaged Shipment
Four steps to make a claim for a lost or damaged shipment:
STEP 1
Download the Claim Form.
STEP 2
Fill in the information.
STEP 3
Gather the required documentation.
STEP 4
Return the completed claim form to the FedEx Customer Support team by email, fax or mail with supporting documentation.
TIPS
If you email the claim form to us, you will receive acknowledgement for the email and regular updates on the status of your claim.
For International shipments:
All claims due to damage (visible or concealed), delay (including spoilage claims) or shortage must be notified to FedEx in writing within 21 calendar days after delivery of the Shipment. All other claims, including, but not limited to, claims for loss, non-delivery or misdelivery must be received by FedEx within nine months after the Package was tendered to FedEx. All supporting documentation must be filed within nine months after the package was tendered to FedEx.
