Dear FedEx customer:
As of September 9 FedEx will offer you improved connectivity and increased capacity. From this date FedEx will be operating in Honduras with a Boeing 757 offering more than 50,000 pounds per day of capacity.
We are very grateful to Guticia Group for all these years of service and although they continue with us, the administrative functions will now be handled directly by FedEx.
Guticia Group will continue to support us operationally with the pickup and distribution of your export and/or import shipments.
As a result of this administrative change please consider the following:
- The new customer service phone number will be +504.2544.0558.
- The latest time to schedule a pick up in San Pedro Sula will be 1:30 p.m. Tegucigalpa remains unchanged.
- We recommend registering on FedEx® Billing Online at https://www.fedex.com/online/billing. In this tool you will be able to view all your invoices and additionally you will be able to view in detail all the shipments you make

As of September 8, all the administrative part of FedEx that was managed by the Guticia Group now goes directly to be managed by the FedEx Corporation. The Guticia Group, for its part, will continue to provide the collection and distribution service of your export and/or import shipments.

- Personal account: This type of account is opened at the following link https://www.fedex.com/es-hn/open-account.html. This account is tied to a credit card and can be used in the same way as a corporate account with the only difference that the charge is applied to the credit card at the time of shipment. The advantage is that when exporting you can request that customs duties be charged to the credit card. Another advantage is that by having a FedEx account it is possible to import.
- Corporate account: This is an account offered to established companies, unlike the personal account, this one offers a 30-day term to pay. This term may vary depending on what has been negotiated with your account executive. For more information you can contact Daniela Lizardo at +(504)3145.7760.
FedEx uses a Boeing 757 with a cargo capacity of up to 52,000 lbs.
- You can open a personal account with a credit card that will automatically give you a 20% discount when you open it.
- If you already have an account and your shipment is over 21Kg (46Lb) you can opt for last minute rates. Please contact us at tarifasunicas@fedex.com for more detailed information.

- Freight invoices, which will contain all charges related to the transportation services provided.
- Duty Tax invoices: charges related to customs and local administrative fees. Below the two types of duty tax invoices:
- ROD (Reimbursement on delivery), this type of invoice is required to be paid upon delivery of the package, when destination is Honduras (inbound).
- Duty Tax credit, this type of invoice is billed into a credit account when destination is different from Honduras (outbound and third party).
- Credit Notes: generated when a credit has been processed to an invoice.
Note: Credit Notes can only be applied to the invoice that corresponds to. - Debit Notes: generated when a credit has been reverted.

At FedEx we are committed to the environment, that's why to view your invoices you must register at FedEx Billing Online at the following link https://www.fedex.com/online/billing where you can see in detail all your shipments and their costs.
You need to register in FedEx® Billing Online by going to the following link https://www.fedex.com/online/billing. In this system, you will be able to select the option to receive the invoices by email, keep track of all your shipments, view your invoicing, and make payments with credit cards (M C/VISA).
Register or login to FedEx Billing Online, click My Options at the top of the page and then Manage Account Settings. Scroll down to Change Billing Medium, select Register for Electronic and Email invoicing from the menu and then click Change Billing Medium.

Your billing Primary Email Address is your preferred billing email address registered in your FedEx account that will be used to receive the electronic invoices in PDF format. It might be different from the email

- You can access FBO from fedex.com/hn by going to the main menu under Account > View & Pay Bills > Access Now
- Log in with your fedex.com user ID and password and follow the on-screen instructions to link your account to FedEx® Billing Online.
The ISV exempt customer must provide FedEx with the exemption receipt/resolution in order for FedEx to issue a proforma invoice. The customer will then request an exempt purchase order from the Tax Authority and once approved, provide it to FedEx so that FedEx can issue the corresponding tax invoice, incorporating the number of the exempt purchase order.

- Wire transfer, Banking information will be send with your first invoice to the email we have registered. If you do not receive the information, please reach out to LACCRO@fedex.com and let us know the correct email for invoice reception.
- Credit Card at our local station and Fedex Billing Online.

You have 30 days from the date of the invoice for freight charges. There is no credit for Duty Tax. These need to be paid upon delivery.
Your collection agent's information should be printed on the notifications you receive. For statement of account request, please submit these to our local collections agency cobrosguticiasps@guticia.com
