New tax regulations in Mexico have been enacted, which require FedEx to obtain certain information from you, to allow the transportation of your packages across Mexican Federal roadways, after their import to, or before their export from, Mexico.

This extra information will by used by FedEx in Mexico to issue what is called a Complemento Carta Porte (Carta Porte for short). The Carta Porte must accompany any CFDI (electronic invoice) that is produced for a shipment.

No actions are needed at this time for international shipments. Customers will be notified if actions are required.

Enforcement of this regulation begins August 1, 2023.
