Tapping into a unique need

When Snugs founders Paul and Emma Jobin realised how many people were struggling with ill-fitting earphones on a daily basis, they spotted a window of opportunity. Leveraging Paul’s experience in audiology, they launched an e-commerce store selling custom-fit earphones and earphone tips. 

As orders began to pile in from across the world, they needed a partner that could ship their products globally from their rural headquarters in the southwest of the UK. That’s where FedEx came in.

The connections to expand

FedEx utilises its powerful network to transport Snugs’ earphone tips from its factories to its logistics distribution points, and then on to the end customer.

“[FedEx] can allow us to move our business from the middle of nowhere, and create a global business from Exmoor National Park,” says Paul Jobin, CEO and founder of Snugs. “If we can do it from Exmoor National Park, you can do it from anywhere.”

Exciting new opportunities for growth

Thanks to FedEx’s speedy deliveries and wide reach, growth continues to accelerate for Snugs. The e-commerce company has gone from receiving tens of orders a month, to hundreds. Now, it serves 59 worldwide markets, including the U.S. and Singapore.1
