If you open a FedEx Online Account you will need to provide credit card details as part of the account opening process. These credit card details will be used and charged each time you send a FedEx shipment.

Yes, FedEx Ship Manager will give you the option to pay more to select a higher ‘declared value for carriage’ which will increase the level of FedEx liability for loss and/or damage of your shipment. There are restrictions upon what items an additional higher declared value for carriage is available on – please refer to the applicable conditions of carriage.
FedEx Online Account Terms and rates are applicable for International and UK services.
FedEx Express Terms and Conditions of Carriage for Europe apply to the carriage of FedEx shipments originating intra-Europe.
Please note that the relevant conditions of carriage limit and in some instances exclude the liability of FedEx.
The FedEx Online Account cannot be used to ship the following:
International shipments:
- Alcohol or alcoholic beverages
- Items that are prohibited by the above conditions of carriage, by law or the FedEx Service Guide
- Third party shipments
- Knives, blades and e-cigarettes
UK shipments:
- Dangerous Goods of any kind
- Alcohol or alcoholic beverages
- Items that are prohibited by the above conditions of carriage, by law or the FedEx Service Guide
- Shipments that are not either collected from or delivered to the address that your FedEx Online Account is linked to.
- Knives, blades and e-cigarettes
There is no fee to open any type of FedEx account. Shipping account creation requires you provide a credit card number so that your billing information is tied to your FedEx account. In order to verify the credit card information, a temporary £1 hold may be placed on your credit card.

Yes, our FedEx Now solution allows you to send a parcel under 15kg, drop off services only.
If you are shipping regularly, require collection services or sending an item over 15kg, we recommend opening a FedEx account and benefiting from our discounted rates.
