Your TNT account will be deactivated soon and you’ll have access to FedEx tools for your shipments.
To make sure you can keep shipping smoothly, this guide will prepare you for the move and help you every step of the way.
Your checklist
Have your FedEx account number ready to create your user ID – be sure not to use your email address as a user ID. Once that’s done, you can add your colleagues as new users. Take a moment to also add more shipping account numbers for a complete view of your shipping activity.
If you want to add new users:
- Log in to your FedEx account
- Go to 'FedEx Administration'
- Go to ‘Users’
- Click 'Create new’ to add a new user — the user will receive an email with all their login details
- Click ‘Import’ to add new users in bulk from a spreadsheet
- Double-click on an existing user to change or delete their profile
If you want to add an existing account:
- Log in to your FedEx account
- Go to 'FedEx Administration'
- Go to ‘Users’
- Click ‘Add Existing’
- Enter the information of the account you’d like to add. Make sure all the information matches.
- Assign the account to the groups you have in ‘FedEx Administration’
- Click ‘Save’ to add the account
Will you handle FedEx invoices? With FedEx® Billing Online, you can easily track, manage and download invoices. Make sure to activate this secure online tool for total control over your money matters. You’ll be able to choose your preferred payment methods and access your data for up to 180 days after an invoice is paid.
Remember the bank details for FedEx and TNT services are different — please make sure to inform the person in your company responsible for setting up suppliers. Take this time to also let your shipping partners know you ship with FedEx now and no longer with TNT.
myTNT.fr:
- Log in to your MyTNT.fr account
- Click ‘Addresses’ at the top of the screen
- Click ‘Export’ - the button with the green arrow pointing up*
- Choose the ‘FedEx’ format and check ‘all addresses’, then click ‘Export’
- The file will be saved to your ‘Downloads’ folder under the name ‘FedEx_addresses_xxx.csv’ (xxx being the date and time of creation).
- Log in to your ‘FedEx Ship Manager’ account
- In the menu on the left, click 'Address book’
- Click ‘Import/Export’ tab
- Choose to import to your central or personal address book in the 'Choose action' section
- Import as ‘Recipient’
- Click ‘Choose a file’ and select the file ‘FedEx_addresses_xxx.csv’ in your ‘Downloads’
- Confirm that the file type selected is 'fedex.com address book (.csv)' before importing
- Click ‘Import’
*If you don’t see this option, please contact the admin of your MyTNT account to give you access.
TNT Expedio:
- Open TNT Expedio with the ‘Administrator’ profile.
- Press the F8 key or click ‘F8 Addresses’ at the top of the screen
- Click ‘Export recipient addresses’ - the icon with the orange arrow pointing up
- Choose the ‘FedEx’ format and validate
- The file will be saved to your ‘Downloads’ folder under the name ‘FedEx_addresses_xxx.csv’ (xxx being the date and time of creation)
- Log in to your ‘FedEx Ship Manager’ account
- In the menu on the left, click 'Address book’
- Click ‘Import/Export’ tab
- Choose to import to your central or personal address book in the 'Choose action' section
- Import as ‘Recipient’
- Click ‘Choose a file’ and select the file ‘FedEx_addresses_xxx.csv’ in your ‘Downloads’
- Confirm that the file type selected is 'fedex.com address book (.csv)' before importing
- Click ‘Import’
