What to consider when shipping to Spain
- As Spain is part of the European Union, goods sent from France to Spain are exempt from customs duties. Certain exceptions may apply, notably for regulated goods.
- A commercial invoice is not required. However, a packing slip must be affixed to your parcel.
- Note that there are exceptions for goods destined for the Spanish territories of Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands. Four copies of form CN23 and two copies of the commercial or pro forma invoice are required.
- Certain goods are prohibited, such as medicines, works of art, weapons, cigarettes, fuels, alcohol and jewelry.
- Regulated goods include non-perishable foodstuffs.
