Games schedule
The Olympic Games will run from July 26th to August 11th, 2024.
The Paralympic Games will run from August 28th to September 8th, 2024.
Games venues
The Olympic sites are located mainly in Paris downtown and its immediate suburbs.

During this time, the Olympic Committee and the relevant authorities will limit traffic and restrict access to some areas in Paris as well as some nearby cities.

Traffic and route information
Traffic will be fully restricted, except for some very limited derogations in the red zones, which are the areas closest to the Olympic sites. Transit will be prohibited, but local service allowed under conditions in the blue zones (see map below).
Overall, as FedEx uses these roads to connect stations/depots to the Air & Road network, if your business – whether as sender or consignee – is located within these areas, your delivery and collection time may be directly impacted.
Be advised that dangerous goods transportation will be forbidden in both red and blue zones.

These Olympic routes provide direct access to the competition sites to facilitate the journeys of accredited participants and staff.
The routes will be activated on July 15th along the following roads:
- A1 between Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Porte de la Chapelle until September 11th
- A4 between Collégien and Porte de Bercy until August 13th, and from August 30th to September 8th
- A12 between Rocquencourt and Montigny le Bretonneux until August 13th, and from August 27th to September 8th
- A13 between Porte Maillot and Rocquencourt until August 13th, and from August 27th to September 8th
- The Peripheral ring road, from Porte de Vanves to Porte de Bercy, via the north portion until August 13th, and from August 22nd to September 11th
- La Défense ring road until August 13th, and from August 22nd to September 11th
- Other roads
These Olympic routes only include one lane on the main road. The other lanes are accessible to non-accredited users.

- Increase of operational capacity to handle eventual congestions.
- Redesigned routes to mitigate restrictions impacts.
- Promote Hold at Location option and organize our FedEx stations to serve more customers over the counter.
- Sensitive packages such as Pharma and AOG will be identified and treated as a priority.
- Transportation plans have been reviewed to adjust lanes that could be impacted by traffic difficulties.
- A Control Tower will monitor delivery/collection/transport activities to ensure compliance with the operational plans pertaining to the restrictions imposed by the various events. Your usual Sales contacts remain available.
- Our retail points partner offers a retail point delivery option to facilitate your delivery choice.
