Self-Service Online Package Tracking



Enter up to 30 of your FedEx tracking, door tag, or FedEx Office order numbers (one per line).

Enter your reference number or purchase order numbers.

Enter your Transportation Control Number (TCN) for government orders.

Do not use any spaces or the letters “TCN” preceding the number.

Please enter the ship date if the package was shipped more than 14 days ago.

View your proof of delivery, including an image of the recipient’s signature for FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Freight shipments. You can also get a copy of your FedEx Freight bill of lading.

With your tracking number, you can see the estimated 4-hour delivery window and choose from available delivery options that fit your schedule.*

Enable shipping and delivery notifications

To receive notifications for a specific shipment, you can enable and receive the following standard tracking notifications through the tracking page or mobile app. These can be sent via text, email or in-app push notifications — whatever is most convenient.

Notification Types

Picked Up Package has been picked up from the merchant by FedEx.
Delivery Exception Includes details on any issues with the delivery of a package (e.g., weather delays). 
Delivery Update Estimated date and 4-hour window for delivery of a package to the specified address.
Delivery Confirmation Confirmation that a package has been delivered to the address specified.

Mobile app push notifications

Merchants and recipients can enable these by downloading the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.


Email and text notifications

Merchants and recipients can enable these by entering the tracking number in our tracking tool.


Direct text notifications

Merchants and recipients can enable these by following the steps on FedEx Text Message Tracking.

Enter your Tracking ID.



Locate and click Manage Delivery and then Hold at Location on the tracking results page.



Enter the original delivery address for authentication.



View and select from the list of available locations then click Submit.



* This option may not be available for all shipments.
 The option will appear, if available, once the shipment is on the way.
