Redirect your incoming package even if you don’t have an account
Got packages already on the way? You can redirect them to a number of FedEx retail locations for pickup near where you live, work or shop at no extra charge.**
Enter your Tracking ID.
Locate and click Manage Delivery and then Hold at Location on the tracking results page.
Enter the original delivery address for authentication.
View and select from the list of available locations then click Submit.

Use the mobile app to customize your alerts the way you want. Download from the App Store or Google Play.
Enable text message or email notifications by visiting fedex.ca/track and entering your tracking ID.
Use FedEx Text Message Tracking to receive one-time or ongoing status notifications for a specific shipment.

You have several options:
- If your package is already on its way, you can conveniently redirect it to a FedEx retail location for pickup.*
- You can set your delivery preferences for your future home deliveries with FedEx Delivery Manager (e.g., request to have your packages held at a FedEx retail location for pickup, left on your doorstep, etc.). Click here to learn more or sign up.
- If you miss your chance to redirect your package, don’t worry. If you’re not home for a delivery and we can’t leave your package, you will receive a door tag which gives you the reason and the next steps to get it. Click here to learn more about door tags.
- You can also reroute the delivery of your package from one street address to another in the same city/province. A fee may apply depending on the new delivery address. A reroute is a request to change the original delivery address and the shipper’s authorization may be required.
 *This option may not be available for all shipments.
The shipper may require a signature for your package, which means that it won’t be left without an in-person signature. Generally, the shipper will require a signature because of the package value and to protect your merchandise. In some instances, a signature may be required by someone at the delivery address who is 19 years or older and government-issued photo identification will be required.
If you won’t be available at the time of delivery, your shipment may be eligible for another delivery attempt before it’s held at a FedEx location for five business days, and then returned to the shipper.
Please contact the shipper to locate your tracking number. Once you have your tracking number, you can track your package and manage your delivery options.
If your package is already on its way, please contact a FedEx Customer Service representative to see whether the delivery instructions for your package can be modified.Â
