Alternative Delivery Option Portal Supplemental Terms and Conditions
Applicable to all alternative delivery options
Requests for any of the alternative delivery options detailed on this Alternative Delivery Option Portal to apply to the delivery to be performed by FedEx will void the FedEx Money-Back Guarantee (if applicable).
The alternative delivery options that are detailed on this portal are subject to the additional terms and conditions and restrictions as detailed below. These conditions apply regardless of the recipient's method of selection of such alternative delivery options.
All deliveries are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable FedEx Service Guide.
Deliver as planned to a secure place
You are solely responsible for ensuring the safety and security of your shipment following delivery by FedEx to your selected delivery location and being left unattended. FedEx accepts no liability for loss or damage caused following delivery as requested by you.
Please ensure that you provide enough detail to enable the FedEx courier to locate the delivery location selected by you. In the event FedEx is unable to find such location or deems the location not to be secure (in its sole opinion) then FedEx may refuse to deliver the package as requested. FedEx shall incur no liability in connection with such refused deliveries.
Deliver to my address at a future date
Delivery dates stated on this portal are provided for your convenience only and may not represent the final delivery date. FedEx may deliver earlier than the date selected where holding the shipment is not operationally practical in its sole discretion.
Deliver to a neighbour
By selecting the Deliver to a Neighbor delivery option you authorize FedEx to attempt delivery of your shipment to any property and/or address in close proximity to your address. This may include properties or addresses next door, opposite, on the same street, or, in the case of apartment blocks, on different floors. FedEx accepts no liability for loss or damage caused following delivery as requested by you.
Deliver to a FedEx pickup location
Requests for delivery to a pick-up point submitted via this Alternative Delivery Option Portal may lead to a change to the estimated delivery date of your shipment.
Deliver to another address
Your selected new delivery location/recipient must be located within 50 km of the original delivery address and within the same province. Requests to deliver to a post office box are not accepted.
Requests for changes to the delivery location submitted via this Alternative Delivery Option Portal may lead to a change to the estimated delivery date of your shipment.
You are solely responsible for ensuring the safety and security of your shipment following delivery by FedEx to your selected new delivery location/recipient. FedEx accepts no liability for loss or damage caused following delivery as requested by you.
By submitting the new recipient's personal data to FedEx you confirm that you have provided the new recipient with information relating to the collection, transfer and processing of such data including, without limitation, confirming to them that you will be providing their personal data to FedEx to allow FedEx to process their personal data in connection with the delivery of a shipment to them and, where FedEx requires, to contact them via email and/or SMS in relation to such shipment. The data will not be used for other purposes such as direct marketing. You hereby warrant to FedEx that the new recipient has provided you with their consent to the provision of their personal data to FedEx to be used as described above.

Privacy Policy for Alternative Delivery Option Portal
Your details including your name, delivery address, email address and mobile telephone number together with any other personal information you submit via this Alternative Delivery Option Portal (your "data") are collected and processed through this Alternative Delivery Option Portal by Federal Express Canada Corporation ("FedEx").
Your data will be processed, mainly through electronic means, to manage and improve the delivery of shipments to you and the sending of non-marketing communications to you relating to such shipments (excluding any direct marketing purposes) in accordance with applicable legislation and our Privacy Code available at fedex.ca. The provision of your data is necessary and refusal would make it impossible to manage alternative delivery options for your shipments.
We may share your data with other FedEx entities located throughout the world solely for the purpose of managing and improving the delivery of shipments to you. This may include cross border transfers of your data, including to countries which may not provide the same level of protection of personal data as your home country, and, where your consent to such transfer is required and valid under applicable law and without prejudice to other safeguards implemented by FedEx to cover such transfers in accordance with applicable law as described below, by submitting data to the Alternative Delivery Option Portal you expressly agree to FedEx making such transfers.
Our policy is to not give, sell or otherwise distribute the information collected through the Alternative Delivery Option Portal to third parties outside of FedEx Corporation and its subsidiaries (unless required by law); provided, however, in some cases we may use suppliers, acting as data processors, to assist us in the performance of our delivery obligations which will involve such third parties, using or otherwise processing on our behalf and under our instructions the information obtained through this Alternative Delivery Option Portal.
FedEx will not use your details submitted via the Alternative Delivery Option Portal hosted on fedex.com for marketing or other purposes not related to the delivery of shipments to you. In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of and to access your data, to have such data corrected, deleted, blocked or removed and to object to the processing of your data for legitimate reasons, to exercise your right:
