I got a call about duties and taxes, is this a scam?

If you have received a phone call from the caller ID '8004633339' or an SMS from the code '38773', you have duties and taxes outstanding. For more information please visit our Duty & Tax Information page.

If you don't have an invoice number:
If you have an incoming shipment, no invoice number and do not have a FedEx account, go to fedex.ca/paynow to pay for charges, including duties, taxes and other related fees, with your tracking number.
 

If you have an invoice number:
If you received your shipment and have an invoice number, go to fedex.ca/payment to make a payment for transportation charges, including duties, taxes and related charges with your invoice number.
 

If you have a FedEx account:
If you have an incoming shipment and already have a FedEx account, you can view, manage, and pay your invoices by Credit Card or PayPal right from your computer with FedEx Billing Online.
 

You can pay online using Visa Credit/Debit Card, Mastercard Credit/Debit Card, American Express Credit Card, or PayPal.
