Frequently asked questions
We encourage all our customers to create an account and ship with all our available tools. However, you can send 1 package at a time by FedEx internationally only, without an account. You can ship by calling our customer service number (011-3003-3339 extensions 1-7-2 for capitals and metropolitan areas and 0800-703-3339 extensions 1-7-2 for other cities and areas). Payment will be required to be in cash or credit card when FedEx is collecting the package.
There is no fee to open a FedEx account. If you open a FedEx Account with a Credit Card, a temporary pre-authorization charge of $1 will appear on your credit card and will be credited within 7-10 days.
For personal and business accounts with credit card payment method for international and national services of shipping there is no documentation needed. However, you must accept the open account requirement term. For business accounts with credit terms, shipping international and national services of priority, standard, economic, priority cargo, and economy cargo, you will need to send copy of your Business Tax ID card, a copy of your business articles of incorporation, your government ID and accept the open account term.
For business and personal credit card accounts, the account will be opened automatically, however it may go through an analysis, and you may be contacted by FedEx, and your account may be closed.
For business credit terms accounts, after all documents have been received, the account will be opened in up to 2 business days.
A discount promotion may be available for shipments made with an eligible FedEx Account opened with a Credit Card. Please view our online account program agreement for more details.
Business accounts with credit terms may receive discounts based on their shipping volume. Please talk to your Sales Executive for more information about volume discounts.
For credit card payments there will not be an invoice.
For credit term accounts FedEx does not send physical invoices anymore, however you can access all your invoices on our customer platform FBO (FedEx Billing Online).
If you are not yet registered, you can access FBO thru this link https://www.fedex.com/br/account/fbo , and register on the platform.
Reminder that local taxes will be charged with the package and will not be on our FBO platform.
