The fuel surcharge percentage for FedEx Express International services is subject to weekly adjustment based on the U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) spot price for a gallon of kerosene-type jet fuel as published weekly by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The fuel surcharge rate for FedEx Express services applies to FedEx Express International export and import transportation charges published in Europe.
As of 22 August 2022, the fuel surcharge for each FedEx Express international shipment is assessed on the net transportation rate and the following transportation-related surcharges:
- FedEx International Broker Select Option;
- Extended Area Service (Out-of-Pickup-Area or Out-of-Delivery-Area surcharge);
- Saturday Delivery;
- FedEx® Delivery Signature Options; and
- Demand Surcharge (formerly called Peak Surcharge)
As of 16 January 2023, the applicable Additional Handling Surcharge (Packaging or Weight) will be factored in when assessing the fuel surcharge for each FedEx Express shipment.

If the Fuel Surcharge rises above the maximum value or there are changes to the trigger points, the above tables will be updated.
