Make a Claim for a Lost or Damaged Shipment

Four steps to make a claim for a lost or damaged shipment:

STEP 1
Go to Claims.

STEP 2
Select your claim type and click on “START YOUR CLAIM”.

STEP 3
Fill in the required information.

STEP 4
Return the completed claim form to the FedEx Customer Support team by email, fax, or mail with supporting documentation.

Tips TIPS

  1. If you email the claim form to us, you will receive acknowledgement for the email and regular updates on the status of your claim.

  2. Claims for shortage, damage or delay must be reported within 21 calendar days after delivery of the shipment and all supporting documentation must be filed within nine months after the package was tendered to FedEx.

  3. Claims for non-delivery or mis-delivery must be filed within nine months after the package was tendered to FedEx. All claims will be resolved based on the merits of the claims investigation.
