Help Options


Help Menu 

  • Click the Help menu at the top of each page to access the following tools:
  • Help with this page – Includes FAQs, specific instructions and additional information for the sections and processes you see on the screen.
  • Online Technical Support – Provides the opportunity to Find Answers Online, chat online with a FedEx Technical Support Agent, or Submit a Question.
  • Interactive Help Guide – Offers a demo, the ability to practice using our applications, assistance during actual transactions, a printable User Guide and “What’s New” information.

Refer to FedEx Customer Support for ways to contact FedEx via e-mail, mail, or phone.

Shipment Profiles


Shipment Profiles (previously known as Fast Ship Profiles) are saved profiles that can be used when you ship the same package repeatedly to the same recipient. To access your profiles, select Shipment Profiles from the My Lists tab at the top of the FedEx Ship Manager® screen.
  • You can save up to 300 Shipment Profiles.
  • You can save FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground® and FedEx Freight® LTL (less-than-truckload) shipments as Shipment Profiles.
  • You cannot save or use Shipment Profiles for FedEx Express® Freight Services or return shipments.
  • Do not use Shipment Profiles when you need to use a special FedEx® service like Saturday Pickup or Saturday Delivery.

Create a Shipment Profile 

In the Complete your Shipment section of the Create a Shipment page, use one of the following options to save your information to use for future shipments:
  • Select Create a Shipment Profile to store the shipment information as a Shipment Profile to use for future shipments. Enter a unique profile nickname.
  • Select Save changes to My Shipment Profiles if you used a Shipment Profile and made updates you want to save.
  • Select Save as a new profile in My Shipment Profiles if you used a Shipment Profile and want to save the information to a new profile. Enter a unique profile nickname for the new profile.

Use a Shipment Profile to create a shipment 

  1. Select Shipment Profiles from the My Lists tab.
  2. Select the profile, and then click Ship. The profile information populates the Create a Shipment screen, and then your label is automatically generated.
  3. You may enter additional information needed for your shipment or make changes to the profile information before processing your shipment.

Save a shipment as a Shipment Profile 

  1. Select Create a Shipment from the Prepare Shipment tab.
  2. Complete the required shipment information.
  3. Before processing your shipment, select Create a Shipment Profile in the Complete your Shipment section and enter a unique profile name.

Save a previous shipment as a Shipment Profile 

  1. Click the Ship History tab.
  2. Select the shipment and click Copy to my shipment profiles.

Copy recipient information from your Address Book to a Shipment Profile 

  1. Select Address Book from the My Lists tab.
  2. Click Create address, or select an existing contact and click Edit.
  3. Select Add to Shipment Profile in the Complete Your Entry section.

Search the Shipment Profiles 

  • Select the FedEx Express / FedEx Ground radio button to view package shipment profiles. For LTL freight profiles, history, select FedEx Freight.
  • Enter the search criteria in the Search text box and select the column within which to search from the drop-down menu. Profiles that match your selection criteria display in the table.

Sort the Shipment Profiles 

Select a column header to sort the table in ascending or descending order according to that column.

Delete Shipment Profiles 

Select one or more profile(s) and click Delete. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Edit and ship a Shipment Profile 

Select the profile and Click Edit and Ship to edit the information and process your shipment.

Review Shipment Profiles 

Select one or more profile(s) and click Review shipment to view the information on the Review your Shipment Profile screen.

Process a Shipment Profile 

Select a profile from the drop-down and click Ship to process the shipment and print your shipping label.

Document Profiles


Document Profiles are saved customs documentation that can be used when you ship the same package repeatedly to the same recipient internationally. To access your Document Profiles, select Global Trade Manager from the Business Solutions menu at the top of the FedEx Ship Manager screen, and then click the My Document Profiles tab.
  • The Document Profiles option must be enabled in the International Preferences section on the Preferences screen.
