When will this brand be seen in branches?


The brand will be rolled out to all stores some time during the third quarter of calendar 2004.



What about international locations?


FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Services currently operates more than 110 stores under the Kinko's brand in 9 key international markets, with plans to expand. 

The international brand strategy is currently being reviewed and will be announced at a later date.

What do the new brand and icon represent?


The new FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Center will serve as a beacon for businesses of all sizes searching for a total business solutions center.

The colorful icon represents the collection of the three kinds of FedEx services available at these locations—orange for the time-definite global express shipping services, green for the day-definite ground shipping services, and blue for the new retail business service centers. At the heart of the icon, where the three colors converge, is purple, which symbolizes the can-do spirit shared by all FedEx companies.



Will FedEx Kinko's still offer the same services?


FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Centers create a "one-stop" resource offering the industry's broadest range of business services, including:

  • Full range of day-definite ground shipping and time-definite global express shipping services;
  • Copying and printing services;
  • High-speed Internet access and computer usage;
  • Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) services; and
  • Videoconferencing.



When will the expanded FedEx Kinko's services be available in the branches?


Some time during the third quarter of calendar 2004, the full range of day-definite ground and time-definite global express services should be available at all 1,100 U.S. locations. FedEx Consolidated Returns should be available at all 1,100 locations during the fourth quarter of calendar 2004 and complete pack-and-ship capability is planned to be available at all U.S. stores by peak holiday season.

The acquisition was announced on December 30, 2003 and officially closed on February 12, 2004.

How long have Kinko's and FedEx been working together?


FedEx and Kinko's have had an alliance since 1988. Prior to the acquisition, FedEx employees worked at FedEx Ship Sites located in more than 130 Kinko's locations.



Will FedEx be the only shipping company represented at Kinko's locations?


Only FedEx and USPS shipping services are available at Kinko's locations, and there are no plans to expand that list.



Will Kinko's headquarters remain in Dallas?


Yes.
