PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2002--The Sustainable
Computing Consortium (SCC) announced today that FedEx Corporate
Services, Inc., a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), has joined
the Consortium as a founding member.
The SCC is a new organization at Carnegie Mellon University
composed of leading global businesses, software developers and
government agencies whose aim is to improve software quality,
dependability and security.
