HUDSON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 11, 1998--Mike Evers has been
appointed Director, Safety at Caliber Logistics, Inc. He reports to
Senior Vice President and General Manager, North America, Chris Healy.
Evers most recently held the position of Safety and Loss Prevention
Manager for the company.
Evers oversees the development and implementation of a corporate
safety program that complies with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations. Other
responsibilities include workers' compensation and security. "Mike's
management of our Warehouse Safety Program and other safety-related
issues has resulted in continuous improvement of Caliber Logistics'
safety performance and injury reduction efforts," said Healy.
His education includes an MS in Safety and an undergraduate
degree in Geology from West Virginia University. Professional
association affiliations include membership in the National Safety
Council and the pursuit of an Associate of Risk Management
professional designation.
