Yes, signature options are currently available for more than 60 destination countries and territories. Updates are made automatically, so you’ll only see the options that are available in each country.

The new FedEx International Priority Express service is only available with select FedEx automated shipping solutions. To access these new services and get the latest security updates, you’ll need to upgrade to the versions listed below, or more recent versions:

• FedEx Ship Manager™ Software (v3511 or higher)
• FedEx Ship Manager™ Server (v20.05 or higher)
• Web Services (WSDL v26 Ship Service or higher*)
• FedEx APIs (v1.0 or higher)
   

If you use FedEx Ship Manager™ at fedex.ca, our online shipping application, to process your shipments, the new FedEx International Priority Express service will be available on the new and improved FedEx Ship Manager™ at fedex.ca, which will be phased in beginning January 2022. The new application will become available after your log in. If you’re shipping to a destination with an end-of-day delivery commitment time, you will only see the applicable services.

It’s important to upgrade to get a reliable and consistent experience. Here’s why:

• Updates are important because they allow for the safe and reliable download of essential features and security measures.
• Delaying an upgrade may cause problems using the automation or security protocols resulting in the inability to ship. ​

If you’ve been given specific instructions from your FedEx Sales or Customer Technology Specialist to remain on your current version, or if updates aren’t yet available, you can continue to ship on your current version.

Yes, you can continue to ship on your current version of automation with the older FedEx International Priority service until you upgrade. Please note that the delivery commitment time will vary depending on the delivery location.

Effective January 3, 2022, unless there are changes made to your pricing agreement, you will receive the same courtesy discount percentage or net rates as per your signed pricing agreement.

You’ll continue to have access to the older FedEx International Priority service and delivery commitment time, which will vary depending on the delivery location.
