Fees are listed in Australian Dollar. They are assessed per shipment unless otherwise noted.
| Ancillary Clearance Service Fee |
Electronic Entry. A fee applies for high-value shipments requiring formal entry into Australia. A shipment is considered of high value when the combined freight onboard (FOB) and insurance is greater than $1000, and the duties and taxes are greater than $50.
Personal Effects. To facilitate personal imports, FedEx can organize customs clearance of personal effects to be transferred to the European Union (EU) from a country outside the EU. This may include unaccompanied luggage, household effects, inheritance goods or wedding gifts.
Duty-and-Tax Reclaim. If the duty and tax information you provided with a shipment was incorrect, FedEx can file a reclaim with customs authorities on your behalf.
Quarantine. A fee determined by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) may be assessed for shipments requiring quarantine. Such shipments include, but are not limited to, edible products, animal products, artwork, artificial flavoring, gifts and timber.
